Spring Racing Styling Guide
One of our favourite times of the year, the spring racing carnival is well and truly here.
With crowds finally back at the races, we may need to freshen up our knowledge when it comes the dress codes. See our guide to spring racing dressing, so you can stay on top of the dress codes, embrace this season's trends and most importantly, finally enjoy some on the field fashion.
Full of fresh, lightweight and feminine pieces, whether you’re after something modern or more classic, our new arrivals will have you (quite literally) off to the races!
The Everest
.
White with a splash of blue is the dress code for the “worlds richest turf race”. A baby blue dress like the White Spring Dress ticks all the boxes. Stay true to theme by styling with white accessories like a strappy block heel (because comfort is key!) or a pearl headband.

Caulfield Cup Day
With no official dress code in place, this is the perfect chance to embrace current trends and express your own style. Take on the bright and bold colour blocking trend with the fuchsia Kate Top and Skirt. Or if you’re looking for a more classic springtime style, you can’t go wrong with the baby blue Angel Floral Dress.
.
Derby Day
Possibly the most well-known dress code of the spring racing carnival, for Derby Day it’s black and white and the flowy Nicole Dress hits the mark. Black, white and floral.... how can you go past it for Derby Day?
The Melbourne Cup
.
Bright, bold and colourful is what it’s all about on the day that hosts the biggest race on the spring racing calendar. “The race that stops the nation” is also known for show stopping fashion. This is your chance to go all out! Opt for bright colours like the show stopping magenta Villa Dress and the soon to arrive Gambetta Dress (you can never go wrong with a red number).
.
Or embrace the colourful suiting trend and suit up in the Bastia Pant (coming soon) and Maestro Jacket.
.
Oaks Day
Aka Ladies Day, this day is all about feminine silhouettes, pastels and of course florals! The Wildbloom Midi Dress with its one shoulder moment celebrates modern approaches to feminine silhouettes. Or maybe show a little bit of skin with some subtle cut-outs in the Fiorentina Frill Dress coming soon...
.
Stakes Day
Often referred to as Family Day, think relaxed and fun as Stakes Day allows you to take a more laid-back approach to spring racing fashion. Keeping comfortable (yet stylish) when spending all day trackside is essential, the soon to arrive La Croisette Dress made from 100% cotton is ideal. For something a little more relaxed, pair a cream or white pant with the White Spring Top and you’ll have yourself a sweet Stakes Day outfit.
